Cognitive -Behavioural Therapy
Being a psychotherapist that specialises in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) my focus is to support people to develop insight into their thoughts, feelings and behaviours - supporting them to change their lives.

CBT can help with all kinds of psychological problems. Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD and Trauma are all types of issues that can be helped by use of CBT.
CBT is an evidence-based approach. This means that scientific research has been undertaken to objectively prove the usefulness in treating many psychological problems that people may face.

CBT is the most widely used form of psychotherapy worldwide and in the UK and its' results speak for themselves. ​

My Practice, Qualifications and Experience
I have over five years working in different mental health / social care settings. However, my primary passion is supporting people 1:1 through use of CBT and counselling to help them overcome their own adversities.
​
What inspired me to to create an online therapy service was the flexibility that I would be able to provide my clients. Often, counselling services can only offer you support through the hours of 9-5; I however am much more flexible. Sessions can be completed into the evening making support more accessible for everyone. Completing psychotherapy online via secure webchat enables you to connect to a safe space with your therapist from the comfort of your own home.

I use Microsoft Teams to complete the therapy sessions - a secure, web video platform that is easy to use.
